Due to continued expansion JMBL are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller with 2+ years experience to join the Finance Team.  This is a full time position based in Ballina HQ.  

 

CREDIT CONTROLLER - Full Time

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Set-up of new customer accounts
  • Posting and allocation of daily cash receipts
  • Daily processing of invoices and credit notes
  • Liaise with sales reps/sales office to ensure discrepancies are cleared promptly
  • Weekly debtor’s ledger analysis
  • Bank lodgements
  • Provide customer statements and account reconciliations
  • Reduce overdue debtor balances in line with monthly targets
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction at all times
  • Propose solutions to improve work practices and processes
  • Ad hoc duties within the Finance team as required

Key Skills & Experience

 

  • 2 years + experience in credit control
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One is desirable
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Highly motivated, strong communicator ability to build a connection with the customer
  • Work off own initiative and be proactive
  • Adhere to deadlines and understand urgency of month end cut-offs
  • Ability to deal with large volumes in a busy environment
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
